Now this is the kind of plumbing most people don't see—but they'll notice the difference throughout the house.

A properly designed water treatment system can address the specific problems you're dealing with instead of taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

This installation is a great example of why we like looking at the whole water system before recommending equipment.

If you're dealing with hard water, staining, odor, taste or other water-quality concerns, let's figure out what's actually in the water first and go from there.

Most people will never see this part of the job once everything is put away—and that's exactly why I wanted to show it.

Good plumbing isn't only about what you can see. The connections, drain assembly, shutoffs and supply lines underneath the sink matter just as much.

We take pride in leaving the plumbing underneath looking clean and organized too.

Because whether you can see it or not, it still needs to be done right.

There’s a lot more behind a finished shower than what you see when the job is done.

This one came together really nice. New tub, shower valve, handheld, rain head and finished fixtures—all installed with the goal of making sure everything works as good as it looks.

I always enjoy seeing a project get to this stage because this is where all the work behind the walls finally comes together.

If you’re remodeling a bathroom or planning an upgrade, Michigan’s Best Plumbing can handle the plumbing side from rough-in through the finished fixtures.

If a pipe ever breaks or a fixture starts leaking badly, being able to shut the water off quickly can make a huge difference.

Older shutoff valves can become difficult to operate, corroded, or unreliable after years of sitting untouched.

Take a minute this week and find yours. If you aren't comfortable operating it, it won't completely shut the water down, or it looks like it's seen better days, we can take care of it.

That's not trying to scare anybody. It's just good home maintenance.

Your shower shouldn't be something you have to fight with every morning.

If you're constantly adjusting the handle trying to get the temperature right, dealing with a dripping valve, or you're remodeling and want to update the fixtures, it may be time to take a look at the shower valve itself.

A properly installed valve can make a noticeable difference in how your shower performs every single day.

It's one of those upgrades that's hidden behind the wall—but you'll appreciate it every time you turn the water on.

If you're on a well, your pressure tank is doing a lot more work than most homeowners realize.

When something isn't right, you may notice the water pressure changing, the pump cycling more often than it should, or the system just not behaving the way it used to.

Those are things worth having checked before a smaller problem turns into a bigger one.

We work on well pressure tanks and residential water systems throughout Livingston County. If something doesn't seem right with yours, give me a call and we'll figure out what's going on.

A garbage disposal is one of those things you probably don’t think much about—until it stops working.

If yours is humming, leaking, constantly jamming, or simply won’t turn on anymore, give us a call. We can determine whether it makes sense to repair it or replace it and get your kitchen back to normal.

Not every plumbing job has to be a major project. Sometimes fixing one little aggravation makes everyday life around the house a whole lot easier.

Sometimes it’s the smaller plumbing problems that become the biggest annoyance in the house.

A toilet that constantly runs, doesn’t flush properly, leaks around the base, or just needs to be replaced is something we handle every day.

My approach is pretty simple: figure out what’s actually wrong, explain your options, and get it taken care of properly. Sometimes a repair is all you need. Other times replacement makes more sense. I’ll tell you which one I’d recommend if it were my own home.

I believe every homeowner deserves to understand what's happening in their own home.

Before I leave, I like to walk customers through the work, answer questions, and make sure they're comfortable with everything that was completed.

Honest communication is just as important as quality workmanship.

Thanks for trusting Michigan's Best Plumbing.
