Our Plymouth project has been shipped off to the painters!

They are working their way around the house masking off floor, cabinetry, tile, windows and doors and have begun spraying some of the trim work.

Pretty soon we will begin seeing some color on these walls and wood details!

Our shipment of unfinished Rustic Alder interior doors has arrive from the mill in Montana, and they are jaw dropping!

The doors are shipped broken down with the slabs, jambs and stop already machined ready for assembly and require staining / finishing on site.

The select grade white oak flooring has been acclimating for a couple of weeks now, and the balance of the trim package has been ordered.

Time to make this house a home! 🏡

We fabricated these curved gable brackets in our shop out of raw Douglas Fir. It was not an easy task and very time consuming, but seeing them in place makes it worth the extra work.

Ten in total to dress up this exterior - we can’t wait to see it against the “linen” siding and stone facade!

Our “Lodge Lake Build” Update:

The drywall has been finished and primed.

Subfloors have been sanded and screwed down.

Our white oak flooring that will cover every inch of the floor (excluding tiled areas) has been delivered to acclimate in the home over the next few weeks until we begin installation

Exterior masonry prep has been started and we are continuing to work on prep for our siding installation

Our Rustic Alder interior doors are currently being machined and should be shipping out of Montana in the next few days

The Douglas Fir Timbers have been milled and kiln dried. They will be fabricated on site into architectural “arched” beam trusses with mortise and tenon assembly.

We will continue loading the house with trim, tile and cabinetry as we move the needle toward the finish line!
