Spray Foam insulation has two types closed cell & open cell. In the video it shows a metal building sprayed with closed cell spray foam. It has moisture barrier properties so it makes it perfect for metal surfaces. When sprayed right it has a nice clean consistent look to it.

Spray foam insulation has 2 types closed & open cell.
Closed cell is a moisture barrier, when sprayed properly by the right sprayers it has a nice clean look to it.

Open cell is a non-moisture barrier so its commonly sprayed in new build homes where a moisture barrier is already in place.

Closed cell spray foam has a nice clean look to it, when sprayed by the right sprayer. Closed cell has insulation and moisture barrier properties which makes it perfect for metal surfaces. Open cell is a non moisture barrier so it need a moisture barrier in place. A benefit to open cell is providing a high rvalue while being cost effective and also have sound proofing properties.

In the video it shows a newly built home insulated with open cell spray foam. Open cell is the most efficient insulation out in the market as of today. Not only does it provide insulating factors it also has sound proofing qualities to it. Its the most cost effective option compared to closed cell.
