Exciting progress at 611 Walker for the City of Houston, where our team is enhancing flood resilience with the installation of a new engineered flood door system. We are also waterproofing the existing concrete troughs and the precast panels that cover them, ensuring long-term protection against water intrusion.

This critical mitigation work will help safeguard one of Houston’s key municipal buildings during major storm events. Proud to partner with the City on infrastructure that protects and endures.

Summer nights, strikes, and the occasional gutter ball! We are back in the HAEBL Bowling League, the AEC industry’s finest excuse for mixing competition with camaraderie at AMF Windfern Lanes.

Last night, Team “Spared by Dunhill” faced off against the DBR Demolishers, and the energy was high. Huge thanks to Adam Jones, PE, LEED AP, Jennifer Fisher with EMA Engineering & Consulting, Marcelino Perez, and Joshua Solis, P.E. with Huckabee for the great vibes, and to Michael Eastep with Cooper Lighting Solutions, who generously bought a 5 on Five round of drinks and managed to gutter in style with our neighbors from RDLR Architects.

Today marks the 81st anniversary of D-Day.

On June 6, 1944, thousands of brave Allied soldiers stormed the beaches of Normandy in the largest seaborne invasion in history. Facing unforgiving waves and relentless enemy fire, they fought with courage, sacrifice, and determination.

At Dunhill Construction, we pause to honor the heroes of D-Day—those who served, those who fell, and those who forever changed the course of history.

We are grateful for their bravery and remember their legacy.
