Exciting news for Houston! 🌳 The Tranquility Park Beautification Project, driven by our Mayor, is transforming one of Houston’s iconic landmarks just in time for the FIFA World Cup!⚽ We’ve lowered the Rusk Street wall by three feet, and trimmed a whopping seven feet off the Smith Street ventilation enclosures—making everything safer and more visually stunning! Coming soon: handrails along Rusk Street and beautiful decorative fencing on Smith Street, giving the park a fresh new look! Our team worked hard, cutting a total of 810 feet of 10-12 inch thick concrete. We’re proud to play a part in making Houston shine for the world.
