Galveston is lighting up Labor Day weekend in a whole new way! Our friends and partners at Moody Gardens are bringing their first-ever themed Sunday Night Drone Show to the island on Sunday, September 6 at 9 p.m.

Hundreds of illuminated drones will take to the sky above Galveston Island, creating patterns inspired by Moody Gardens’ attractions, marine life, and signature experiences.

It is a great way to celebrate the holiday weekend and enjoy a memorable night with family and friends.

This annual tradition is a meaningful reminder of what it looks like to serve beyond the work we do every day. Supporting students with the tools they need to start the school year with confidence is one small way we can help strengthen the communities we call home.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s delivery possible, including our continued partnership with the Houston Police Department. Seeing the excitement from the students made the day even more special.
