Yesterday marked a major milestone for Morrisville, NC - and for the future of American manufacturing. Forge Battery, a new division of Forge Nano, broke ground on a gigafactory with the capacity to produce 3 gigawatt-hours of advanced battery products.

The significance of this investment extends far beyond its impressive scale. It represents progress toward a more secure domestic supply chain for critical materials and products, while helping advance technologies that can support aerospace and defense, life sciences, and other high-performance applications.

We joined leaders from across government, industry, and the local community at the groundbreaking, which reminded us what's possible when innovation, economic development, and national priorities come together.

We've been design-builder on this facility since its original construction, and we're glad to see it grow into what Forge Nano now calls "America's Battery Gigafactory."

Congratulations to the entire Forge Nano and Forge Battery team on this milestone. The future is taking shape right here in North Carolina.

Six projects across six states signifies more than just a footprint. It reflects what happens when you truly understand a customer’s business and solve for the way they work. Our partnership with LKQ Corporation is not simply copy and paste, but an ongoing evolution of facility designs delivering solutions tailored to their operational needs as their business scales across the country.

We celebrated both of our newest completed facilities with ribbon-cutting events alongside the Moses Lake, Washington - Municipal Government and the Village of Hartford, IL and the teams and partners who helped bring them to life.

Safety is more than a priority on our jobsite; it's a shared commitment.

The Safety Stand Up in Obetz, Ohio, brought ARCO’s commitment to safety to life alongside Prologis, with a day focused on training, awareness, and looking out for one another.

At ARCO, safety is foundational to every project. It’s great to have a partner like Prologis that shares that commitment; in Prologis’s values, safety is a fundamental right every worker is owed — not a nice-to-have.

Our Design/Build Manager, Michael Kadash, captured the goal: “We all want to go home at the end of the day — all our toes, fingers — back to our families.”

Sunbelt Rentals led scissor lift safety training, highlighting practical ways to prevent tip-overs, including staying within the 500-pound limit, using approved anchor points, and monitoring wind conditions above 28 mph.

Then came the number that got everyone's attention during fall protection training. Ask a room full of construction workers how high most fatal falls happen, and you'll hear guesses like 20 feet, 30 feet. White Cap's answer? 12 feet or less, with about a second to react.

Ohio Cat shared giveaways, and we wrapped up with lunch for the crew.

We're grateful to work alongside partners like Prologis who help champion a culture of preparation, education, and looking out for one another every day.

Last week, ARCO Design/Build broke ground on OPW’s new manufacturing facility in Smithfield, NC, situated right next door to their current plant.

OPW is part of Dover, a diversified global manufacturer that delivers innovative equipment and components, consumable supplies, aftermarket parts, software and digital solutions and support services. Dover and OPW continue to invest in Johnston County because of the stellar workforce, local universities / colleges and the amazing manufacturing culture that already exists in the current facility – more capacity, more jobs, same community.

Our crews know this ground well: we’ve completed 22 ground-up projects and delivered more than 4.4 million square feet built across Johnston County over the years. As an employee-owned company ourselves, we understand why staying and investing where you’ve already put down roots is worth doing right.

Our Indy associates brought plenty of energy to the Indiana Sports Corp at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where companies from all over Indianapolis came together for competition, wellness, and family fun in support of Indiana Sports Corp’s community programs.

From making the dodgeball finals and reaching the tug-of-war semifinals to taking first place in hockey shootout, bucket golf, obstacle course relay, and football accuracy, this team showed up ready to compete and have fun all day long!

The best part wasn’t the podium finish. It was seeing associates and families show up for each other, have fun and represent what makes ARCO special.

After more than 20 years delivering projects across the D.C. metro, we've made it official: ARCO Design/Build has opened a satellite office in Northern Virginia.

We've long believed in a simple idea: we go where you grow. And in the D.C./NoVA market, our clients are growing fast.

With increasing demand from developers and end users alike, expanding our local presence was the natural next step. This new office allows us to be closer to our partners, more responsive on active projects, and even more invested in the region's future.

Leading the charge are George Hassan and Kyle Tomlin, bringing deep market knowledge, trusted relationships, and ARCO's design-build approach to one of the most active markets in the country.

We've been building here for decades. Now we're officially on the ground.
