We're Hiring: Elevated Estimator – BPT Elevated (Houston, TX)

Since 2001, Builders Post Tension has been a trusted name in post-tension construction. We're looking for an experienced Estimator to handle bids on commercial and high-rise projects that can produce quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and proposals for complex, large-scale work.

Looking for: Proven post-tension estimating experience, strong knowledge of structural drawings, sharp analytical skills.

⚡ Tension Tuesday: The Extrusion Process ⚡

Before post-tension strand reaches the jobsite, it undergoes extrusion where a continuous plastic sheathing is applied around the steel strand.

Plastic sheathing is applied to post-tension (PT) tendons to prevent bonding with concrete and provide corrosion protection. It allows the tendons to move freely during tensioning while serving as a barrier against moisture and other corrosive elements.
