For more than six decades, Tony's Houston has been a Houston dining landmark, making it especially meaningful to create something for this iconic space.

Inspired by the forests of Italy, this monumental mural was hand-painted on both sides of the 19-foot-tall panels dividing the dining room.

Created by our most seasoned muralists—and after countless brushstrokes, we think they’ve earned that bow.

Every ornamental plaster element begins long before the first cast is poured.

Each leaf, scroll, and architectural detail starts as a hand-sculpted clay original. From there, molds are carefully created to preserve every nuance, allowing us to reproduce timeless ornament while maintaining the artistry of the original sculpture.

It’s a process rooted in centuries of craftsmanship—and one we continue by hand every day.

This week, cast florals come to life under layers of paint, geometric ceilings take shape, bas-reliefs featuring iconic landmarks emerge from molds, ornamental plaster is refined by hand, and custom coves receive their final touches.

From concept to installation, each piece is crafted to bring depth, character, and artistry to the spaces it inhabits.

For this space, we used limewash over brick to recreate the warmth and character of reclaimed terra cotta flooring, adding age, texture, and authenticity while remaining timeless.
