Our 2026 retreat at Horseshoe Bay was a great reminder of what makes Butler-Cohen special: a team that works hard, shows up for each other, knows how to have fun, and makes time to recognize the people behind the work!! 🛠️

With Houston, Central Texas, and West Texas all together, it gave everyone a chance to step away from the day-to-day and spend real time together. A mix of outdoor activities, time to relax, and a company program with some employee awards 🏆 brought everyone together before the night turned into poker ♠️ and a cigar social.

We wrapped it up with a Build a Bike giveback 🚲 benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Highland Lakes, a solid way to close out a really good trip.

Grateful for this group and everything they bring to Butler-Cohen. 🤝

Caught this little guy...“Venison Diesel,” a.k.a. “Buck Norris”...wandering into an active jobsite at Aristoi Classical Academy 🦌

Our team paused work, secured the area, and coordinated with local game wardens to make sure he got where he needed to go safely. A good reminder that jobsite safety goes beyond our crews, it includes protecting the environment and wildlife around us.

Bayou City Brawl 2026 was unreal 🥊🔥

Shoutout to Julio with Enterprise Electrical for his outstanding leadership on the Houston Classical. He consistently runs effective toolbox talks, submits JHAs on time, and keeps his crew aligned on safety and ex*****on while proactively solving field issues to keep work moving. 👷‍♂️⚡️

The Houston Classical project is now about 90% complete, with new classrooms, upgraded academic spaces, and improved athletic and site areas coming together to support the school’s growth. Electrical, HVAC, and concrete are each at 95%, with final completion underway.🏫🔧

Excited to see this campus come to life for Houston Classical scholars. 📚✨

Proud to attend and sponsor today’s Houston Go Red for Women Luncheon with the American Heart Association. ❤️

This national effort to raise awareness for women’s heart health hits especially close to home for our team. When our colleague Chad Eccleston experienced a heart attack, his family turned that moment into meaningful action. His nephew, Cameron, stepped up through the American Heart Association’s Teen of Impact program, raising funds and spreading awareness for heart health at such a young age.

Today was a celebration of Cameron’s achievements, survivors like Chad, and the families, advocates, and communities coming together to move heart health forward. We’re honored to support and this incredible cause in Houston and beyond.

Our BC West Texas team had an awesome time sponsoring the 26th Annual Mudbug Meals on Wheels fundraiser in Odessa 🦞🎶 From great food and live music to an even better cause, this event helps support Meals on Wheels America and their mission to serve homebound seniors and disabled neighbors across Odessa and Ector County 💙 Grateful to be part of such a meaningful community tradition, and excited to keep that support going with our next volunteer mission delivering meals firsthand.

Moments like this remind us why we love what we do. Our superintendent John Moron had such a great time walking Inspire Academy students through their future school, teaching them how to read a blueprint and why every line on it matters. Watching the kids recognize classrooms, science labs, and shared spaces they will soon call their own was incredible, and their excitement as the building came together right in front of them was something special. 🥹 Experiences like this bring our entire Butler‑Cohen team so much joy, and we cannot wait to open the doors to Anne Frank Inspire Academy - Bandera Rd this summer. 🏫 🤍 📐

It was a fantastic few days exhibiting at the 97th Annual West Texas County Judges and Commissioners Association Conference in Wichita Falls. Each year, this conference is a valuable opportunity to connect with county leaders from across the region, and we truly appreciated the chance to listen and learn from the counties we serve.

One of the major highlights was our signature cigar party, featuring hand‑rolled ci**rs, craft cocktails, and an especially fun group of attendees. It was a great night of easy conversations and good company, and we’re already looking forward to next year. 🥃🚬
