Spectacular!

You've seen the lunar eclipse up close by now, so how about the lunar eclipse over an amazing field of bluebonnets in Ennis, Texas? I stayed out til 6am this morning photographing the different phases of the eclipse over this field on Mach Road, and composited them to create this image. Be careful out there today, Houston!

Some serious storms are starting to move into the Houston area this afternoon, with hail as the main threat. Storms appear to be developing along the front so even as temperatures cool expect additional periods of heavy rain and possibly thunderstorms through this afternoon and early evening.

Should be a fun commute home!
