One Westside Phase 1A & 1B will deliver 230 apartment homes as part of the City’s larger revitalization effort focused on expanding quality housing and supporting long-term growth in Chattanooga’s Westside neighborhood. The development includes a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units designed to support residents and create a stronger sense of community. 🏘️

Another exciting project is getting underway for Block Companies in Denham Springs, Louisiana! 🚧

Our team will be handling site development work for a new retail site that will include a future Target store along with additional tenant spaces to come. Scope of work includes site clearing across 33 acres, mass grading and earthwork, site utilities, building pads, paving, concrete work, irrigation, and landscaping.

This opportunity is ideal for a relationship-driven, financially savvy professional eager to grow within the multifamily construction and development space across Texas and the Southeast.

This role will focus on:

• Building relationships with developers, owners, brokers, consultants, and industry partners
• Identifying and pursuing new multifamily construction opportunities
• Working closely with leadership, preconstruction, estimating, operations, and finance teams
• Supporting deal strategy, project planning, and business development efforts

Experience in multifamily, affordable housing, commercial real estate, construction, finance, or development is strongly preferred.

Our team recently took part in National Safety Stand-Down Week, spending time focused on the practices that keep our jobsites safe every day. 🦺

We covered key topics like fall protection, excavations, tools and materials, safeguarding, confined space, hot work, heavy equipment operation, and PPE 👷‍♂️. The team also worked through hands-on exercises, with crew members demonstrating techniques, sharing insights, and walking through real processes used on site.

It was a great opportunity to reinforce expectations, learn from one another, and keep safety top of mind across every project.
