We’re proud to have been part of the team behind the new Peoria Stadium Dome, a major investment in the students, athletes, and community of Peoria, Illinois.

Our work on the project included the entry/lobby building serving the Dome as well as the pre-engineered metal building providing on-site storage, helping support the functionality of this new year-round athletic facility.

The completed Dome provides a flexible, all-weather environment for students and athletes across Peoria Public Schools, while also creating opportunities for tournaments, clinics, community events, and other activities throughout the year.

Projects like this are a reminder of what can happen when a community comes together around a shared vision. We’re grateful to have contributed to a facility that will serve Peoria for years to come.

Congratulations to everyone who helped bring the Peoria Stadium Dome from vision to reality. Peoria Public Schools

Over the past ten weeks, our interns had the opportunity to experience the many facets of architectural practice—from design and documentation to project coordination, client engagement, and construction.

Working closely with our CEO, Ben McMillan and members across the IDG+ team, they gained hands-on exposure to the profession both in the office and in the field. From visiting active job sites to exploring prominent projects on the horizon, their time with us provided an opportunity to see how ideas move from concept to reality.

We’re proud to have played a small part in their professional journeys and look forward to seeing where their talents and ideas take them next.

Congratulations, and best wishes for the next chapter!

We ARE BACK!

We’re proud to have designed a dynamic new music studio for Peoria Public Schools, creating a space where students can explore their creativity, collaborate, record, and develop their musical talents. Thoughtfully planned to support both learning and performance, this studio is built to inspire the next generation of artists.

St. Joseph Integrated Secondary School in Malawi is a community-focused project currently under construction, designed to offer sustainable, accessible education. The school centers around a courtyard with a library at its heart, surrounded by classrooms and meeting spaces. Sports courts and animal farms add a vibrant atmosphere for students.

Built with locally sourced soil-stabilized bricks, the construction is simple, allowing local residents to actively participate. Solar power and natural ventilation ensure sustainability while keeping the campus net-zero energy/carbon neutral. Woven screens made of palm leaf straw allows for ventilation of hot air to escape. The entire site is universally accessible, creating a safe and inclusive environment.

In collaboration with MCSPA (Missionary Community of Saint Paul the Apostle), this project aims to provide accessible education for Malawian youth. Support our ongoing efforts by contributing to the fundraiser linked in the bio!
