It is with a heavy heart that I have to create this post. On 1/6/2023 we lost a a leader of the Plumbing industry. Selerino Nevarez was a dedicated man to his family while being a pillar of his community. Sel achieved earning his journeyman plumbers license after starting as a laborer to provide for his family. Sel worked for the local plumbers union for a short time only to leave because of his ambition of owning his own company. He earned his Master plumbing license and started Eastside Plumbing. He was a loving and caring man that was always trying to help others to the extent of hiring people in need just to give them a chance. He even offered a place to stay in his home when another man needed help, just to get them back on their feet. Sel has without a doubt raised many plumbers that have continued to carry on his name as well further their futures in the plumbing industry. His two sons, Daniel and Jon both own their own companies and carry on the family tradition through their sons Ivan Nevarez and Jon Luis Nevarez. Both are working towards testing for their journey license later this year. Being such an honest, loving, and hard working human being we want to allow our fellow brother sand sisters of the industry to continue to be proud of who we are and do what we love to

As you know, there is an extreme shortage of plumbing supplies. This is not only because of the extraordinary high demand, but also because trucks have not been able to make their deliveries for days because of hazardous road conditions. We’ve had to use multiple resources, drive to multiple supply houses in multiple cities daily just to procure a few supplies. Please understand that this not a normal situation for anyone and are doing the very best we can.

Texas officials are now allowing out-of-state plumbers to travel to the area and help out, however, experts are warning against scams.
