Is your A/C blowing warm air? Check these 4 things before you call!
A surprising number of A/C issues can be fixed in seconds without a service call. Run through this quick checklist first to save time and hassle! ⬇️
1️⃣ Check the Thermostat Set it to COOL and AUTO, with the temp set 3–5° below room temperature. (Blank screen? Try changing the batteries!)
2️⃣ Inspect the Air Filter A clogged filter chokes airflow and can freeze your coils into a solid block of ice. Swap it out if it’s dirty!
3️⃣ Check Breakers & Switches Look at your electrical panel for tripped breakers, and make sure the safety switch near your indoor unit hasn't been flipped off.
4️⃣ Look at the Drain Line If your condensate drain line clogs, the safety float switch automatically shuts off power to prevent water damage in your home.
