Another busy Saturday!

2 installs and 2 service calls later, we’re home!

Our first customer had us install a unit in their garage so they can climate control their very healthy aquarium hobby. While we were there, Ayden met a new friend!

Our second install was from a repeat customer that needed their unit replaced in an Airbnb they have. We’ve been able to limp it along for the last few years but it was finally time to replace it with an upgraded/larger system.

Both units cooling great and were ready for another install tomorrow!

Another Sunday funday!!

We started out this morning installing a unit for our local coffee shop. Anytime Ayden and I can help support local businesses, we try our best to do so because we REALLY do appreciate the business! So when we were wrapping up, we asked if they minded if we took half the payment in a gift card instead. That helps support their business and keeps us caffeinated for all those long days at work! So if you’re in the area, swing by Cozy Coffee and pick you up a drink!

The 2nd install was a replacement unit that failed on a customer. I’m not sure who did the install, but the unit had a leak a the customer wanted it replaced. Cooling great and ready to fight that summer heat!

Saturday was busy with an install for a local gym and 2 service calls.

This gym has a conventional AC but it just can’t keep up with this heat! Customer called and asked us to help out, so we installed a 2 ton system to support their main AC. Power will be installed in the next few days and they’ll be cooling great!

2nd customer had a leaking coil in the head unit so we removed and replaced it.

Then the 3rd “customer” is near and dear to my heart, and even though I don’t typically work on conventions AC’s, when you’re mom calls and says her AC isn’t cooling, you get your tail over there and figure out how to get her cooling again! Come to find out both units were just desperately in need of a good cleaning. When I checked in today to see if they cooled any better last night, her response was: “Unbelievably better!!! Even downstairs has been a lot chillier! Thank you so very much!”

And in-between service calls, we stopped into a car wash to support the local kids trying to raise money for a fundraiser. They did a great job!

So before I post anything about our busy, HOT 🥵 weekend, I want to take a minute to brag on this “kiddo”. (he’ll always be my kiddo no matter how old he gets!)

Details to come, but we had 3 installs and 2 service calls this weekend. We started yesterday at 7am and didn’t get home until almost 10pm, then back at it again this morning at 7am and was back home just after 5pm. This was him last night, completely exhausted and passed out on the way home. Then up again with no complaints, ready to go this morning.

Me being able to spend so much time with him, watching him grow, learn, communicate with people/customers, developing skills that will last him a lifetime is the #1 thing that makes all the blood, sweat and tears worth it. I can’t tell you enough how proud I am of you Ayden. No matter what you decide to do in life I know you’ll be great!!! I love you kiddo!

Boy was it 🥵 today!!

Ayden and I replaced a unit this morning that had been having problems with rodents chewing through the insulation and condensate line inside the wall and in the head unit. We added another layer of protection with thick wall pvc around the lineset going through the wall and sealed with styrofoam. Nothing is full-proof, but anything we can do to deter them will help!

Them the 2nd install was a customer provided unit that they received 2nd hand. It was a used unit that he thought worked when it was pulled, but when we hooked it up we found the circuit board was bad. So one has been ordered and we’ll finish up the install once it arrives.

Luckily we finished up and I headed over to Anytime Septic Solutions for some of the best crawfish I’ve ever had! If you need any septic work at all, they’re the best in the business!!

One more scheduled tomorrow and then resting the rest of Father’s Day!

Another install down for a repeat customer.

This setup is for an animal rescue center. The dividing wall will be for 2 different rooms to house the pups.

Ayden had a weekend away with friends so I didn’t have my trusty sidekick with me, but I got it done anyway!
