Soap on wood floors? Sounds crazy, right? Here’s a beautiful 7” white oak, finished with WOCA Diamond Oil after a fresh soaping! One year ago, this entire floor was cupping due to a polyurethane finish being applied to the floor that sat over a crawl space underneath the house, exposing floor to moisture. After lots of patience and help from our friends at WOCA, we were able to save this floor from being torn out and restore its natural beauty!

When acclimating wood to a house, it’s best to stack bundles in perpendicular layers to allow air circulation throughout every piece of wood in a designated section/sections of the house. Luckily this home had 2 rooms big enough to store all of this material!
