Sweater weather, translated into a material palette!

Rich burgundy, warm wood tones, and layered textures have us looking forward to cooler days ahead. With a balance of soft textiles, veined stone, and sculptural surfaces, this palette brings depth and a little seasonal mood to the material library at Abel Design Group.

A design detail that makes movement part of the experience.

Take a closer look at the custom staircase linking AZA Law’s expanded workplace. Vertical slats, contrasting materials, and integrated lighting transform the transition between levels into a distinct architectural feature within the space.

AZA Law’s expansion onto an additional floor of its Houston office provided an opportunity to build upon the firm’s existing workplace while introducing a refreshed design for the new space.

The Level 26 renovation carries that design approach into the expanded space through updated materials, details, and workplace elements. From the new entry and conference room to private offices and a distinctive internal staircase, the design creates continuity between the two floors while giving the expansion a refreshed identity of its own.

We’re excited to welcome Erik Pacior to Abel Design Group as a Senior Associate I in our Houston office!

Erik brings experience across both exterior and interior architecture, along with a thoughtful, adaptable approach to design. As a LEED Accredited Professional, he also brings a strong understanding of sustainable design principles and how they can be thoughtfully integrated throughout a project. Outside of the office, Erik enjoys designing and building furniture in his woodshop and spending time outdoors hiking, mountain biking, and exploring.
