⛳🎣 A Week of Giving Back to Our Communities!

It’s been a great week of supporting local charities, building relationships, and making a difference in our communities!

⛳ MOCO–COC–CISD Scholarship Fundraiser Golf Tournament

Landtech’s Senior Project Manager, Russell Henderson, joined engineers from the City of Conroe in sponsoring and supporting the Montgomery County, City of Conroe, and Conroe ISD Scholarship Fundraiser Golf Tournament. This annual event helps raise scholarship funds for local students, investing in the next generation and their educational futures!

🎣 Chambers County Charities Fishing Tournament

We traded the golf course for the open water at the Chambers County Charities Fishing Tournament, hosted by Judge Jimmy Sylvia!

Landtech was proud to sponsor a team alongside Lea Gibson with Tetra Tech and Jildardo Arias with the City of Friendswood. It was a fantastic day on the water filled with great company, friendly competition, and an opportunity to support charitable causes throughout Chambers County!

At Landtech, giving back is about more than sponsorships. It’s about strengthening relationships, supporting our communities, and making a positive impact beyond the projects we work on every day.

This weekend, the Landtech team rolled up our sleeves and did our part for National Cleanup Day!

The road near our office and surrounding area unfortunately sees its fair share of litter and illegal dumping, the Landtech team spent the morning picking up trash and debris to help make a noticeable difference in the community.

We’re proud to do our part to help keep Office of Commissioner Lesley Briones, Precinct 4 community cleaner and safer. Small actions can make a big impact when we all pitch in!

Great teamwork, great company, and a great way to spend the morning making a positive impact!

There’s a lot of history between Landtech and Houston City College and it was exciting to see what the future looks like!

Landtech’s Alayne Bryant and Jessica Long recently toured HCC’s Drafting and Design Engineering Technology Department and got an inside look at the incredible resources available to students. A highlight was the Collab Lab, featuring VR technology, 3D printers, advanced design software, and other tools that allow students across HCC programs to bring creative ideas to life.

Our connection to HCC goes back decades. Landtech has provided land surveying services to HCC for more than 20 years, including work at six different facilities across the Southeast and Central campuses.

Our President, Paul Kwan, RPLS, also has deep roots at HCC. He began teaching at the main campus in 1987 and taught for six years. He continues to give back today as a member of the Engineering Technology Advisory Board, where he has served since 2018.

And that connection continues within our own team, four Landtech employees are HCC alumni, including our most recently hired CADD Designer, a graduate of the Drafting and Design Engineering Technology program!

We’re proud of our long-standing relationship with HCC and excited to continue supporting the next generation of designers, technicians, engineers, and surveying professionals.

We were honored to receive a special welcome at the Greater EMC Chamber’s September Monthly Luncheon as one of its newest members.

We’re excited to become more involved in the East Montgomery County community, build new relationships, and support the continued growth of the region.

Landtech is proud to highlight the successful completion of surveying services for the Wharf 8 at Bayport Container Terminal Design Project at Port Houston in partnership with WSP.

Our team provided detailed topographic surveying, established project survey control, and developed terrain mapping to support the design of future waterfront improvements. We also coordinated with Chris Ransome & Associates the hydrographic survey team to integrate land and underwater survey data, creating a comprehensive terrain model for engineering design.

Working within an active port environment required precision, collaboration, and a commitment to safety from start to finish. We're grateful for the opportunity to support WSP on another important infrastructure project and appreciate the trust placed in our team.
