Halloween lights this week, Christmas lights in a month. Before any of it gets plugged in outside:
Every outdoor outlet should be a GFCI, the kind with the test and reset buttons. It cuts the power in a fraction of a second if water gets where it shouldn't. If yours doesn't have the buttons, or it has them and the test button does nothing, it needs replacing.
And if you've got lights, inflatables, and a fountain all on one outside plug, that's a dedicated circuit conversation. 985-637-0830.
