Sheetrock can be saved if it dries out in 24 hours. Insulation is a different story.

Training day: crown moulding edition

Yes, crown moulding saves you from having to cut in on the ceiling and wall joints (at least the first time you put them up), but there is a definite trade off with the time, energy, and effort it takes to cut it, put it up, caulk it, paint it, and then potentially touch up the ceiling and wall next to it.

First of all, the cuts themselves take more brain power than winning at chess. I should know, I'm not very good at chess. And if you cut it 1/2" too short, you will be making a short piece 12" or longer.
