🏡 HOMEOWNER TIP 🔨

With cooler weather on the way, take a few minutes to check the exterior of your home before winter arrives. 🍂

Look for loose siding, damaged trim, gaps around windows and doors, or areas where water could sneak in. Catching small issues in the fall can help prevent them from turning into bigger—and more expensive—repairs after a Michigan winter. ❄️

A little maintenance now can go a long way later!

🪵 FUN FACT FRIDAY 🔨

Did you know? Carpenters use the phrase “crown of the board” to describe the slight natural curve found in many pieces of lumber.

When framing, paying attention to which way each board crowns helps create straighter walls, floors, and finished surfaces. 🏠

It’s one of those small details that can make a big difference in the finished project!

🪵 FUN FACT FRIDAY! 🔨

Did you know? A well-built home can contain thousands of individual pieces of lumber — all measured, cut, and installed to work together as one solid structure.

It’s a good reminder that the smallest details can make the biggest difference when it comes to quality craftsmanship. 👏

Quality is in the details.
