Ugh

Our wind map for June 18th, 2026, denotes winds out of the west-northwest today. 20-30 mph will be our top gusts across most of the state, while southeastern Michigan enjoys some gusts above 30 mph at times.

Lake wave heights on Lake Erie today could exceed 10 feet, primarily on the southeast side of the lake away from Michigan. With all this water being shoved southeast, low water is likely on the west side today. A low water advisory is in effect offshore from Monroe county as a result.
