🌸 KEEP YOUR FARMSTAND FLOWERS FRESH! 🌸
Just picked flowers are one of my favorite things, but a little TLC at home will help your bouquet last as long as possible! 💕 Here are a few simple tips for caring for your Aerial Rootz flowers:
🌿 Give them a fresh cut!
Before placing your flowers in water, trim about ½–1 inch off the stems at an angle with CLEAN shears. A fresh cut helps them drink up water more easily.
💧 Use a CLEAN vase + fresh water.
Always start with a clean vase and room-temperature water. Remove any leaves that would sit below the water line.
✂️ Change the water regularly.
Every 1–2 days, dump the old water, rinse your vase, and refill with fresh water. Give the stems another little trim if needed!
☀️ Keep them cool.
Your flowers will last longer away from direct sunlight, hot windows, heat vents, and appliances. A cool spot on your counter is perfect!
🍎 Keep them away from fruit.
Ripening fruit releases ethylene gas, which can cause flowers to age faster. So keep that beautiful bouquet away from the fruit bowl!
🌼 Remove flowers as they fade.
If one bloom starts to wilt before the others, simply remove it. This keeps the rest of your bouquet looking fresh and beautiful.
💛 BONUS: Don’t be afraid to rearrange your bouquet! As different flowers open, you can trim the stems and move them into smaller jars or bud vases around your home.
Most importantly—ENJOY YOUR FLOWERS! 🌸
Every bouquet from Aerial Rootz Homestead is grown, harvested, and arranged with lots of love right here at home. Thank you for supporting our little flower dream and allowing these blooms to brighten your home! 🌿💐
