Some people use these devices to survive tornadoes at home. BUT...... legend has it...... smart men use them as a place to stay safe from their wife who is mad at them for staying on that fishing trip 3 days too long without her permission. Once he exits safely he stores all that fishing and hunting gear in there and then secures it shut so he doesn't find it for sale on Marketplace.
