"What's in Winona?"

Looking for a day away to wander and explore? Join us for a day trip to Winona, a charming Mississippi River town filled with art, history and delicious stops along the way.

Our adventure includes a visit to the Minnesota Marine Art Museum, a bakery stop for some tempting confections, and lunch at Bridges Golf Club, where you can build your own salad and sandwich, accompanied by chicken dumpling soup. We’ll also stop at the Watkins General Store and Museum, where you can browse and shop for the company’s historically famous food products.

Summer + Popsicles + Community = ❤️

What do summer evenings, popsicles, retired men serving in the community, and live music have in common? **EVERYTHING!** 🍦🎶

The Hopkins Activity Center’s Men’s Shed group is bringing good vibes to the Sunset Series Concerts in Downtown Park, serving up JonnyPops popsicles and water to concertgoers.

There are just two more Thursday concerts to catch these awesome volunteers in action! Stop on by tonight at 7 p.m. to say hello and grab a sweet treat, and then again next Thursday, August 20.

The Men’s Shed is about more than popsicles—they’re building friendships and strengthening the community through volunteering, exploring local attractions, and sharing experiences together.

Ready, Set Bowl! 🎳
We are looking forward to another fun year for the Hopkins Senior Bowling Club, a co-sponsored activity between the Hopkins Activity Center and Tuttle’s Eat Bowl Play.

Registration is now open for the FALL SESSION! Play begins Thursdays, September 10 through December 17, from 10 a.m. until noon.

🎳 Create your own team of 4 or join a group to meet new friends. Call the office to be placed on a team.
🎳 Can't commit to the whole season? Sign up as a SUB ONLY.

This club is not a sanctioned league and provides flexibility in your schedule as well as a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere.

Cost to play:
• $5 per session-Fall & Winter (or FREE to Members of the Activity Center).
• $10 each week game play collected at Tuttle’s. ($9 for bowling, $1 for prize money).
• $13 for the fall banquet on December 17, if you plan to attend.

Wow, it is amazing the transformation our garden has made, from tiny seedlings planted earlier this season—to the vibrant vegetables now being harvested!

Each week, volunteers come together to plant, w**d, water, and harvest an incredible variety of vegetables, flowers, and herbs. Thanks to their hard work and enthusiasm, the Activity Center's garden plot continues to flourish.

Interested in getting your hands in the soil? Meet us at Valley Park Community Gardens on Wednesday evenings, at 6:30 p.m.—just bring your gardening gloves and a willingness to dig in! Nearby, University of Minnesota Master Gardeners are available to share expert tips, answer questions, and help us to create the best conditions for a healthy, thriving garden.

Whether you're an experienced gardener or just getting started, there's always room to grow with the Garden Club!

Fine tune your dinking skills and be an aggressive force on the court with focused skill work at our next Pickleball Class for experienced players! In just 4 short sessions participants will focus on the technical strategies of deliberate lob shot placement, speed-ups and counter attacks, and spin development.

Space is limited in this intermediate class starting soon! Held indoors, so no need to worry about the weather. Session runs on Tuesdays, July 7-28, from 2-3:30 p.m.
