Buying a home with a septic system? Don’t skip the inspection.
We recently inspected a septic system for a prospective buyer and found major hidden issues: a deteriorated concrete tank, non-approved outlet piping, previous system backup, heavy root intrusion, and a drain field that was full of debris and no longer functioning. From the surface, none of this was obvious.
If this inspection hadn’t been done, the buyer could have taken ownership of a failing system—leading to sewage backups, environmental concerns, and tens of thousands of dollars in unexpected repair or replacement costs.
A septic inspection gives buyers clarity before closing. It helps avoid costly surprises, provides leverage for negotiations, and protects your investment.
Before you buy, inspect.
