🍂 New month, good time for a quick check around the house.
⚡ Test your GFCI outlets — especially in kitchens, bathrooms, garages and outdoor areas.
🔌 Look over extension cords and power strips for damage, loose plugs or anything that's getting unusually warm.
🔥 Check smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and replace batteries if needed.
And if you spot an outlet that's warm or discolored, lights that keep flickering, a breaker that repeatedly trips, or anything else that doesn't seem right, don't ignore it.
