🛡️ Protect it before you paint it!

To play it safe with these beautiful hardwoods, we started by laying down Trimaco | Jobsite Protection Products 90-Day Floor Smart Tape no residue and designed to keep the floor protected.

Then we rolled out Trimaco XBoard® Floor Protection lays flat, durable, long-lasting, liquid repellent, breathable, and built to help block spills. 💪

We taped everything down and sealed the seams using Trimaco Seam Tape to create one solid protective system.

When you’re working in a high-end new build, protecting the finished surfaces is just as important as the finish coat itself.

This combination of surface protection is unmatched and truly a game changer!

Big custom new-build home, and we’re taking the prep seriously.

Proper sanding, surface prep, and the right primers make all the difference. We’re protecting those brand-new hardwood floors with Trimaco | Jobsite Protection Products X-Board Paint & Remodel Floor Protection to help prevent spills, scratches, and jobsite damage.

For problem surfaces, we’re using Zinsser BIN for proper bonding, and Zinsser Smart Prime on pre-primed wood before spraying the premium finish coats.

Because a beautiful finish starts with proper prep. Spray it right, finish it clean, and leave it looking like a million bucks.

We took this project head-on and went full speed, dodging those little bursts of rain along the way and still managed to knock it out in about 5.5 days!

We removed all the peeling, failing paint, got everything properly prepped and primed with Sherwin-Williams Pro Industrial Pro-Cryl, then finished it off with Sherwin-Williams Pro Industrial Waterborne Acrylic Urethane for the win!

The end result speaks for itself. We took this old historic building and brought it back to life with a fresh new pop! 👊🏼

Grinding, feathering, priming… repeat. 💪

Everything prepped and feathered is getting locked down with Sherwin-Williams Pro Industrial Pro-Cryl Waterborne Primer before the topcoat. Proper prep = a finish that lasts. 🔥
