Equipped with my Graco PowerShot, covered with a spray sleeve from SpraySleeve®️ to help keep the gun clean. Dialed in with an FF 208 tip for a smooth, flawless, anti-spit finish.

Clean setup. Proper prep. Dialed-in spray. That’s how you get a finish that looks this good. 🤩

The finest finishes take the MOST prep! 💪

Stairs are stained using ZAR finishes, wrapped and protected so production can keep moving full speed spraying trim, rolling walls, and getting it DONE. Let’s go! 🔥

While we’re protecting the floors with Trimaco | Jobsite Protection Products X-Board, we’re also cutting X-Board to give these stairs that same level of protection.

We used Delicate 3M Purple Surface Tape to create a clean border and help prevent any residue issues. Paper goes down, X-Board gets secured to the elevated tape using orange high-adhesion FrogTape, and for the win we put a very small amount of polyurethane around the tape border to prevent paint from working its way underneath between the risers and tape.

That extra prep is what makes the difference.

When everything gets pulled up, we’re looking for those CRISP, STRAIGHT LINES and a finished staircase that speaks for itself. 👊

Protect it. Prep it. Finish it RIGHT.

Nothing sounds better than the noise of the tools while production gets done. One task at a time, knocking out everything we can before the seasons change.

The final coat always hits different. 🔥

Stain is matched, the color is locked in, and now it’s time to put down that final coat of poly and bring these stairs across the finish line.

A lot of prep, sanding, staining, and attention to detail went into getting these stairs right. Now we protect all that work and let the finish do what it’s supposed to do.

One more coat. One more step. Then we’re done. 👊

Applying one coat of stain and wiping it off to get the perfect match to the existing floors!

While the floors stay protected under Trimaco | Jobsite Protection Products X-Board, we’re getting these stairs stained and ready for poly as we keep converting the remaining areas of this project.

One step at a time, one task at a time. The details matter when you’re trying to get everything to flow together and match up right!
