We’re out here doing a Level 2 chimney inspection today.

Most of our clients never heard of it, but it’s RIDICULOUSLY IMPORTANT TO DO:

Truth is most inspectors don’t offer this, because you have to be certified chimney sweep to perform this service.

We get on occasion clients tell us that the service is not necessary to do, call me crazy- but you are lighting wood on fire inside your house, and hoping that nothing goes wrong during that process.

Most inspectors only inspect fireplaces with a flashlight. A flashlight does not let you see anything past the damper Door.

You need specialized equipment and cameras to see inside the chimney flue.

There’s over 25,000 chimney fires a year. Do yourself a favor- protect your property, and yourself and get it inspected when you’re buying a home.

I never personally buy any properties without doing a sewer line inspection because of the amount of issues we find. It doesn’t matter if the house is 5 years old, or 100 years old. Glad we got to save this buyer 18k!
