Lungs: Full-face respirator or mask 🫁

Skin: Tyvek suit & chemical-resistant gloves 🧤

Eyes: Safety goggles (if not using a full-face mask) 🥽

The chemicals in spray foam are no joke, so make sure you are 100% protected before you start spraying. Stay safe out there!

Basic maintenance & safety

➡️ Know where your unit's water shutoff valve and circuit breaker panel are before you need them in an emergency.
➡️ Test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors when you move in — don't assume the landlord did.
➡️ Keep a small toolkit on hand: screwdriver set, adjustable wrench, pliers, tape measure, level, and a stud finder.
➡️ Learn to use a plunger properly before you need a plumber (push down slowly first to avoid splashback, then plunge fast).
