This Pushmatic panel had some bad corrosion due to water dripping into the panel from the meter socket. The service wire is newer (10 or so years) but when it was replaced the meter socket wasn’t sealed properly letting water into the cable. This unfortunately is a common issue and easily corrected if found early enough.

Both problems are fixed and the customer is good to go.

A seemingly small issue can cause major problems over time (shorts, damage to appliances, fires, etc), as well as you could be without electricity for an extended period of time until it can be fixed. If your panel is older please have it checked out.

And we are done! It’s a shame all the work that electricians, plumbers and HVAC people do gets hidden in the walls. There are places that you can see how much we care but mostly it goes unnoticed/unseen. Oh well we know what effort we put in this project and every project we do.
