🦃 SUNDAY FUNDAY — THE TURKEY CREW SHOWED UP!

Apparently the local turkeys have decided to start checking up on our mowing crews!
Two days in a row now we’ve had wild turkeys wandering around while we’re out mowing customers’ properties. Today’s encounter happened in Maumee near the river, where a crew of about five turkeys decided to stop by and supervise the job. 🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃

While we’re mowing, blowing off sidewalks, and trying to keep those stripes looking good, these guys are just casually walking around the property like:
“Looking good boys… but I think you missed a spot over there.”

Meanwhile, we’re working a Sunday trying to keep the mowing route moving, and these five are out here having their own Sunday Funday!
Beautiful weather, fresh-cut grass, and wildlife roaming around — definitely one of the perks of working outdoors. 🌱☀️
At this rate, if they show up again tomorrow, we might have to put the whole crew on payroll. Hopefully at least ONE of them knows how to run a zero turn!

🍂🌱 SEPTEMBER MOWING — PLAYING CATCH-UP! 🌱🍂

Saturday morning rain showers had our mowing crew running a little behind schedule this holiday weekend. Rain is a great thing this time of year… but 4 inches in one night will have this grass growing a mile high! 🌧️

We got a late start, but it turned into a pretty good evening — fresh-cut lawns, some wild turkeys coming out to say hi, and a beautiful sunset to finish off the day.
And sometimes the best part of running a family business is having my son tag along with the crew, helping blow the grass off the sidewalks and learning that the job isn't finished until everything is cleaned up. Those are the little things that make the long days a lot more memorable.
We appreciate all of our mowing customers being patient with us while Mother Nature keeps changing the schedule!

🚛 SEMI CRASH LAWN REPAIR 🌱

A semi crash caused some serious damage to this lawn in multiple areas, but our crew got it cleaned up and on the road to recovery!
We repaired and reseeded the damaged areas, then installed extra straw matting to help hold moisture, protect the seed, and give the new grass a jumpstart.
🌧️ With all the rain in the forecast, this lawn should be popping green very soon!
