Late last month, we had the privilege of celebrating two incredible milestones—40 years of Mike Schaap Builders and 25 years of Benchmark Wood Studio.

Surrounded by the clients, friends, trade partners, employees, and family who have been part of our journey, we spent the evening reminiscing, sharing stories, and reflecting on all that God has done over the years. It was a night filled with gratitude and meaningful connections.

Our hearts are overflowing with thankfulness for everyone who has supported us throughout the years. Whether you've built with us, partnered with us, worked alongside us, or simply cheered us on, you've played a part in our story.

Some surprises are worth uncovering.

While remodeling a home we originally built in 2004, our team came across an old plank tucked away behind a wall, a small piece of history that had remained hidden for more than 20 years.

Moments like this are a reminder that every home has a story. It's especially meaningful when we have the opportunity to return years later, helping our clients reimagine the spaces where new memories will be made while honoring the craftsmanship that has stood the test of time.
