German roaches. An extremely annoying pest that once established, reproduces rather quickly.
Just one female can hatch 400+ nymphs (baby roaches) in her lifetime. Those nymphs take 50-100 days to become reproductive adults.

Treating them can be difficult. But hey, that’s what I’m here to do—-treat, and eradicate belligerent pests.

Many make the mistake of “spraying” OTC products that contain repellents. This may kill some, but it pushes the roaches into deeper areas, and may cause them to spread to other parts of the home rather than the kitchen.

It can be particularly tough to control big headed ants due to their very large, and interconnected colonies, and their penchant for nesting adjacent to slabs, around/in trees, and underneath anything that might be laying on the ground.

Colony populations can number in the millions, and they are exceptionally adept at burrowing underneath foundations to gain access to a structure.

When treating, the idea is to be as thorough as possible—-literally leave no stone unturned.

I always love a good challenge, and have extensive experience dealing with this species.
Unfortunately, these ants can be misidentified due to being dimorphic, or two distinct sizes.

The smaller minor worker is often mistaken for a ghost ant which requires a different approach.

Yet another crawl space that wasn’t inspected by the prior pest control company.

Not one, but two air handlers draining into the crawl.
It’s since been fixed/repaired diverting the drainage to the exterior of the building.

So many issues can come from the crawl space. It’s important that it’s inspected, and treated.

This particular issue is a very very slow leak from the main drain line where it meets the PVC piping, plus older piping that was left open after redoing the water supply lines.

I treated, sealed the pipe with caulk, and informed the owners of a potential plumbing issue.

I started my business for a few reasons.
I enjoy solving pest issues, protecting homes from future infestations, and excellent customer service which I believe is lacking in this industry.

I also don’t offer a “subscription” based service. I prefer to conduct a thorough inspection (attic & crawl space included), and install a treatment to protect the home from a myriad of invasive insects.

This process usually takes me two to three hours to install, and I back it with a robust warranty.

Being proactive can save you service calls. I was inspecting a new customer’s home, and found abandoned/old condenser, and supply lines in the attic.

Roaches, especially American roaches love these as they give them a great breeding area. Same goes for old water supply lines, drains etc.

A bit of caulk to seal can prevent a technician from constantly throwing product at a problem that was solved mechanically.

Continuing with the American roach theme. This septic pumping station is the perfect breeding area—-completely dark, with a moisture source.
These roaches were making their way into an established business a few feet away.

I treated this area, and they should be eradicated in a couple of days.

Unfortunately, this little area will need to be treated on a regular basis, as there is no removing the moisture.
