Job Description
General Mechanic
CSI Erosion in Hiram GA has an immediate opening for a Mechanic. Responsibilities would include (but are not limited to), reporting to one of our local hubs each morning at 7AM to maintain our fleet of vehicles/trailers and equipment. The perfect candidate should be well-rounded and knowledgeable of all vehicles and would be responsible for inspections, minor repairs and maintaining vehicles, including oil changes, light checks etc. prior to them leaving the yards. This will be a salaried position.

Clay Stewart, the founder and CEO, initially established the company as Step-Con Construction Erosion Control in 1999 before changing the name to CSI Erosion, Inc. in 2005.
A Georgia native, Clay joined the workforce as an employee of Winn-Dixie Stores at the age of 15. He continued to work for the grocery retailer through high school. After graduating Alexander High in Douglasville, Clay entered Winn-Dixie’s management and leadership program. Promoted to his first store manager position at 21, Clay was then the youngest store manager in the Southeast. He ran multiple stores from 1992 to 1999. Venturing out on his own was a leap of faith, but Clay launched his own business in a promising new field to secure his career and family’s future.
When the housing bubble burst in June of 2007, Clay considered it more of a blessing than a curse. As other companies were laying off employees, he grasped the opportunity to acquire great people. CSI further diversified and grew, serving the many banks that ended up owning foreclosed land. Since 2007, company has enjoyed an exceptional growth rate and continues to expand.
Through every challenge in life, Clay has always maintained a deep faith. “We are grateful to be a debt-free company with our core values held as our biggest asset,” he says. Repeating the words of Joel Osteen, he attests, “And the reason the windshield is so large, and the rearview mirror is so small, is because what's happened in your past is not near as important as what's in your future.”
