Our team was proud to support the expansion of the Emergency Department at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Milton, helping enhance healthcare capacity for the community.

This 8,000 SF modular addition includes:
-18 treatment rooms
-2 nurse stations
-A new ambulance entrance

One of the project’s biggest challenges was coordinating the installation of a fully prefabricated modular facility. Constructed and fit-out in Pennsylvania, the building was shipped to Milton in 20 sections and assembled on-site. Our team installed the electrical infrastructure in the basement crawl space ahead of delivery and successfully completed hundreds of mate-line electrical connections to bring the facility online.

A great example of how planning, coordination, and teamwork can accelerate the delivery of critical healthcare infrastructure.

Last week our team participated as a Lead Sponsor for the Suffolk Construction Giving Circle Golf Tournament.

McDonald Electrical Corporation recently submitted three lighting upgrade proposals for Siemens Russelectric’s Hingham, MA facility, totaling 264 new LED fixtures across the Fabrication, Machine, and Base Switch production areas.

The proposed scope includes:
💡 Replacement of 264 existing fluorescent fixtures with high-efficiency LED lighting
⚡ Circuit testing and labeling
🌙 Third-shift installation to minimize disruption to manufacturing operations

These upgrades will improve lighting quality, increase energy efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and provide a brighter, safer work environment for the production team.

Excited to welcome our newest class of apprentices as they begin their careers with McDonald Electrical!

Over the past few weeks, our team hosted orientation and training sessions at our office in Hingham to help prepare our incoming apprentices for success in the field. We welcomed almost 20 new apprentices to our field staff of electricians.

Orientation went over the following:
🦺 Safety and compliance
🏢 Company structure, divisions, and goals
🤝 Culture and expectations
📈 Job assignments and career development

These apprentices will join our Electrical, Telecom, and Service Divisions, where they will gain hands-on experience while learning from industry professionals.

We are proud to invest in the next generation of skilled tradespeople and look forward to watching their growth and success in the years ahead.

ANJ Electric, a division of McDonald Electrical, was proud to help power the new Coventry Community Learning Center, officially celebrated during a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony with Rhode Island community and state leaders.

Located within the newly renovated Town Hall Annex, this new facility will provide Coventry residents with access to education, workforce development, health, and support services for years to come.
