UPDATE: we cut the exterior wall completely out. We re-framed it, installed new exterior plywood, re insulated the wall.

When that was complete, we installed ice and water shield to the exterior, wire mesh, three coats of mortar and then three coats of Lexon concrete paint! Check it out!

Well this was a fun day!!! Now that the room is completely demoed, we found that the window wall framing is all rotted and and someone tried to make the wall stable by adding some 2x4 studs in the wall that actually are not really attached to anything. Also, behind the insulation most of exterior tongue and groove boards that hold the exterior plaster on the house is all rotted and completely missing.

This bathroom project is going to take on a mind of its own.

Stay tuned for the next steps to make this all correct before we start actually remodeling this bathroom.

The customer wanted to change the appearance of their kitchen. Let’s remove the upper bridge cabinet, let’s install a new tile backsplash along with a vented stove hood unit. They had a painter come in and refinish their cabinets and BOOM a new kitchen!

The customer requested to replace the floor boards on their deck. We said sure, but we don’t know what we will find once we pull the old boards up. Holy Rot! All the joists needed to be replaced also!! The deck is now solid and much more enjoyable for this family.

Thank you Jason Boyce and Samantha Alessi for having the trust to get your home ready for you to move in and enjoy it! After many years of renovating their new home and trying to get contractors to do quality work, Jason and Samantha finally found Piperni Brothers,LLC to repaint the entire interior of the house, repair drywall, install floors, install cabinets, get their backsplash installed and many smaller tasks. Oh don’t let me forget, we gave them the finished fireplace that they had planned!!!
