UPDATE - 2/24/2026

This update applies to anyone that has any type of trash collection service in Hunterdon, Somerset and Middlesex counties with ANY COMPANY.

3 out of 4 local transfer stations were closed today, Tuesday 2/24. The 4th transfer station was only operating with one scale open which DRAMATICALLY INCREASES the time to process each truck entering and exiting the facility.

We were only able to collect what fits in our trucks and we have to dump them tomorrow morning.

We still have Monday AND Tuesday stops outstanding. Please continue to leave your cans out at the curb and we will get to them as soon as possible. We should have everything collected by Wednesday afternoon.

Depending on the rest of this storm, we should be collecting all the Monday and Tuesday stops on Tuesday, 2/24/2026

Garbage pickup will not be collected Monday. Please put your cans out Monday night for Tuesday pickup.

If you already have Tuesday pickup, please still put the cans out Monday night as we may be able to get your trash on Tuesday.
