🌿 Celebrating 25 Years of PLM — Meet Mauricio Flores 🌿

I joined PLM on March 16, 2020—right as the COVID-19 shutdowns were beginning. Starting a new role during such an unprecedented time made for a unique experience and explains the masked photo that marks my first days with the company.

What drew me to PLM was its outstanding reputation, strong leadership, and commitment to growth. The opportunity to serve as Enhancement Manager for a large Athletic Campus in Beaverton, Oregon was an exciting challenge that I was eager to take on. With ambitious career goals and a desire to continue growing professionally, PLM's vision and steady success made it the perfect fit.

Looking back, I'm grateful for the opportunities, relationships, and experiences I've gained since joining the team. It's been an incredible journey, and I'm excited for what's ahead.

At Pacific, one of our greatest accomplishments isn't just the landscapes we create—it's the futures we help grow. 🌱🎓

This month, we're celebrating the children of Team Orange employees who are graduating from high school and college, including recipients of our First-Generation College Scholarship Program. What began with one employee's dream for his daughter has grown into a program that has helped dozens of families navigate the college journey and supported 11 scholarship recipients to date.

Read more about this year's graduates and how we're investing in the next generation.

Well, it’s been a tremendous month in Manhattan and spending time every day in Central Park. But it’s time to come home. One of the things that I’ve noticed is their essential no chemical policy as I see no chemical related control and lots of “weeds“. But in many locations, the weeds come, especially in the lawn are fine in that setting. We’ve been working on trying to come up with ecological or pollinator lawn using blooming components and this motivates me to keep pushing that as it’s working wonderfully in Central Park. Ironically, though, I don’t think they planned by adding the plumbing opponents. It just happened naturally. Takes a little too long so we’re working on trying to overseas with blooming components to get to equilibrium quicker. More to come.

🌿 Celebrating 25 Years of PLM — Meet Corey Petersen 🌿

My first experience with PLM was in 2006 as an intern (see photo: pierced ears, crooked hat, and all).
Two years later, when it was time to decide where to start my career, Bob offered me a unique opportunity. Part of the role was serving as a large-site supervisor, and part was helping advance the company’s sustainability initiatives through continuing education, research, and development. At the time, that combination was incredibly exciting.
In the end, I chose PLM not just because of the opportunity, but because of the people and a culture that felt like a place where I wanted to build a career.
Looking back, I was fortunate to join a company that would continue to grow and evolve for years to come. That growth has created new challenges, learning experiences, and opportunities at every stage of my career. I'm grateful for the people I've worked alongside and for the journey that has brought me from an intern 20 years ago to where I am today.

Every Saturday invite people to come volunteer in the park. Much of the maintenance work is done by volunteers. I am so inspired by the Park that before we complete our May visit to Manhattan I wanted to volunteer which I did this morning.
