šŸƒā€ā™‚ļø We did it again! šŸŽ‰

Our Pacific Landscape Management Hood to Coast teams crossed the finish line—and together we raised an incredible $28,636 for the Providence Cancer Institute!

We are so grateful to everyone who ran, volunteered, donated, cheered us on, and helped make this year another success. It’s always an incredible experience, but knowing every mile helps support cancer research makes it even more meaningful.

There’s still time to donate! Help us push that total even higher https://orppm.give.providence.org/team/839900

—and check out our video to follow our teams from the starting line all the way to the finish. https://youtu.be/cJso5_E73Zk

Thank you to everyone who helped us make a difference!

Summer may be winding down, but our crew hasn't slowed down one bit. 🧔

From dawn patrol on the mowers to the little details, deadheading, pruning, keeping every walkway spotless, this team has put in the work all season long to keep your property looking its best.

But here's the thing: the work doesn't stop when summer does. As the season turns, we're already shifting gears — fall cleanup, leaf removal, seasonal color changeouts, and prepping your landscape for what's next.

Same crew, same care, all year round.

That's the Pacific Landscape Management difference.

Landscape Pests are here in Oregon—and staying ahead of them is key. 🌱

At Pacific Landscape Management, we work hard to minimize unnecessary treatments while protecting the long-term health and appearance of our clients’ landscapes. But changing conditions and newly introduced pests are creating challenges we haven’t historically faced in our region.

In this week’s newsletter, we take a closer look at European Chafer, Emerald Ash Borer, and Crabgrass—what to watch for, why they matter, and the proactive steps we’re recommending to help protect your landscape.

Prevention and early action can make all the difference. Learn more in this week’s PLM Landscape Update: https://conta.cc/4xu8Aug

At Pacific Landscape Management, our standard isn't "good enough", it's the best. Our founder Bob Grover put it simply: we find the best people, invest in them, and trust them to do their best work on the greatest properties in the business. That's not a slogan, it's how we operate every day.

If you're the kind of person who takes pride in getting it right, we want to hear from you.

Sometimes the smartest irrigation solution is to stop irrigating. šŸŒ±šŸ’§

Many commercial landscapes were built with lawn in places it was never meant to thrive—parking islands, narrow strips, and areas surrounded by hot concrete and asphalt. Keeping these challenging areas green can require significantly more water, maintenance, and expense.

In our latest newsletter, we look at why some turf struggles even when the irrigation system is working properly—and why lawn conversion can be a smarter long-term solution. From drought-tolerant plantings and mulch to decorative rock, there are attractive alternatives that can reduce water use, lower maintenance costs, and improve the appearance of your property.

The goal isn't to eliminate lawn. It's to put lawn where it makes sense.

🌱 A smarter landscape can look better while using fewer resources.

Our team recently transformed this area by removing struggling turf and limbing up the trees to improve visibility and create a cleaner, more open landscape.

We also capped the unnecessary irrigation to conserve water and repurposed wood chips generated from other tree work on the campus—supporting our tech campus's zero-waste initiative by giving that material a new purpose right on-site.

The result: improved visibility, less water use, fewer maintenance needs, and a more sustainable landscape. It’s a great example of how thoughtful landscape management can improve a property while making better use of its resources.

Keeping a property running smoothly takes more than one kind of work. It starts with planning, making sure the right people and equipment are in place.

Then it's the equipment itself: maintained, repaired, and ready before it's needed.

And it's the work on the ground, where all of that comes together. Here's a look at what goes into it — from the office to the equipment yard to the site itself.
