Our cool season grasses (bluegrass and fescue) are ramping up for the first of two big growing periods of the year, while our warm season grass (zoysis and bermuda) are just waking up.

The IronCutter Bermuda group I created has 400 members. Almost all are from 🇦🇺 . It’s really taking off there.

My Bermuda isn’t fully awake yet from its winter nap, but the worms are showing me that my soil is healthy!

Yes, worm castings (worm p**p) are a great indicator of soil health and biological activity. When you see worm castings, it means:
• Active earthworm population – Worms help aerate the soil and break down organic matter.
• Nutrient-rich soil – Castings are full of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and beneficial microbes.
• Good soil structure – Worms improve drainage and root pe*******on by loosening compacted soil.

If you’re seeing worm castings in your lawn or garden, it’s a sign that the soil is healthy and has good organic matter.
