While we have a deep appreciation for your stickered water bottles, we do NOT warranty a stickered roof. 0/10

Over the fall, we completed this tear off and re-roof in Republic after a recent hail storm. Fun Fact: Most insurance policies have a "1 year from applicable storm" clause which means you have 1 year to file a claim from a storm that WOULD cause enough damage for a new roof. If you were hit with hail in the Spring or Summer, we recommend seeing if you have enough damage to file a claim before time runs out!

Merry Christmas from all of us at SRA! This year we decided to do a gingerbread house making contest! Points for style, but ultimately, it can't leak! Congrats to Megan for being our winner! Owens Corning

TLDR: We gave the gift of a FREE roof!

About a month ago, one of our team members spotted an Ashley Reynolds KY3 News story on KY3 featuring a family who had severe roof damage. They submitted a claim through their insurance, but unfortunately were denied. Their son was suffering some serious health conditions due to the state of their roof.

This is where we couldn't help but step in. After doing some digging on her insurance claim we discovered the date of loss was inappropriately submitted so there was no chance in recovering the entire roof at this point and even worse, the insurance company had dropped her until she replaced the roof - a $13,000 cost.

So we did it for free. We're so fortunate to have the capacity to be able to bless a family with a much needed roof! We couldn't have done it without our incredible subcontractors (JF Roofing) and product suppliers (ABC Supply)! Merry Christmas, McCharen family!

Coming to us from Eagle Rock, our client wanted to replace his existing green metal roofing system with an Owens Corning Duration (color: Brownwood) shingle and a new guttering system. We love the way it turned out!

Can you guess what this tool is?
Hint: It helps us see the heat… without touching a thing. 👀🔥

See More for the answer!

✅ Answer: It’s an Infrared Thermometer!
We use this to measure surface temperatures, perfect for spotting heat loss, checking roof materials, or identifying hot spots during inspections. It's fast, touch-free, and super accurate!

This tool is one of the many new high-tech tools we use to analyze your roof and give you the most expert opinion! Ready for us to analyze and inspect your roof? Call 417-840-6715 or visit https://www.sraroofs.com/ today!

Do you know how to interpret the post-inspection chalk markings?

V - 11
Stands for the amount of vents on the roof

SAT - 2
Indicates the number of satellites on the roof

PJ - 6
6 pipe jacks

Chim
Short for Chimney, indicating the roof has a chimney

SB
Indicating that they have a split boot flashing

MED
Indicating the chimney is a medium-sized

These markings help crews quickly assess the accessories on the roof. They are usually documented in inspection reports or used during insurance claims.

🌧️💨 Severe Winds & Rain Just Hit — Is Your Roof Still in Good Shape? 🏠
Heavy rain and strong winds can do serious damage to your roof, even if you can't see it from the ground.

🔍 Here’s what you should do next:

Check for missing or lifted shingles – Wind can pull shingles loose, leaving your home vulnerable.

Look for debris on your roof or in your yard – This could be a sign something was damaged above.

Schedule a professional inspection – Hidden damage can lead to leaks and costly repairs if left unchecked.

👉 Don't wait for water stains on your ceiling, catch problems early with a quick, expert roof check.
