There’s a lot of adapt and overcome during the busy season. Both machines were tied up on a land-clearing and road project that started this week. Then a trenching job came up with a tight deadline, so we added a few hours to the workday and made it happen.

We pulled the excavator off the road job yesterday evening, and by 10 AM this morning, we had trenches in the ground for water, propane, and electric. 💧🔥⚡

Now it’s back to the road project—pushing trees and moving dust piles!

It’s been pedal down between the rain the last month! Here are just a few of the projects going on. Keep it coming!

✅We finished up the 130 yard concrete driveway project with Loula’s Concrete and it looked awesome!

🏠 We got a house foudation dug out in Highlandville and just came back to backfill and prep for garage and porch concrete.

🌧️ Now we are back in Ozark correcting some drainage issues, replacing a propane line, building a retaining wall, and taking out a tree or two.

Happy Independence Day! We are thankful every day to live in the greatest country in the world where we live free, make our own choices, and have the opportunity to create a business to thrive with hard work!

It’s been a mad dash this week to knock out this foundation dig. A little rain mixed with clay is a recipe for both machines to get power washed soon.

With some help from my boys running the skid loader and holding a grade stick, it was a family affair to get it done. We are glad to get this customer to the next step and will see him again soon for digging electric, water, and backfill.

🌡️The first taste of heat and humidity are always rough, but that’s not slowing us down!

🪏We helped keep Loula and company rolling on a big concrete project yesterday to get one step closer to done! Gavin even got to get in some practice putting an edge on a driveway.

🏡We knocked out a quick pool pad this morning and spent the afternoon starting the topsoil cut for a house foundation. Hope to be back on it tomorrow if the rain doesn’t wash us out! No stopping!

Demo Day 3

Almost there! We are finally done with big piles of debris and down to some more detailed cleanup. All in all, this house will have just shy of 400 yards of demo debris. That’s about 27 tandem dump truck fulls for scale.

We started a bit delayed this morning with lightening all over and Mt. Vernon basically being the Kansas plains. After that, we found plenty of time to turn the site into a mud hole. The show must go on!

Demo Day 2

Thanks to Doty Trash Service, we moved 270 yards of debris off of our job site today! It’s awesome when a company wants to put the hammer down with us and make the most of a day.

A few more dumpsters, some detailed clean up, and collecting scrap metal and this site will be good to go!

Being in the fire service locally for the last 17 years, I deal with fire loss more than most demo contractors. After we take care of the people first, it’s nothing short of a nightmare for homeowners to deal with the damage left behind. With our background, we bring a little more compassion and understanding to the job site when fire is involved.

This particular job hits close to home for us as we work to turn the page for a local fire service brother. We got started on a Sunday to make sure we keep our timeline and get this project started right. Im proud to be on site for this project to start something great for this family this year! They deserve it. Thanks for trusting us and we can’t wait to see you back in a house soon!
