NOTICE OF POLICY CHANGE – NO PETS ALLOWED
Dear Residents,
This letter serves as formal notice of an update to the rules and regulations at Highlands RV Park.
Due to ongoing issues related to pet waste not being properly managed and the resulting impact on the cleanliness, safety, and enjoyment of the property for all residents, management has made the decision to implement a No Pets Policy within the park.
Effective Date: May 1, 2026
As of this date:
• No new pets will be permitted within the park.
• Existing residents with pets will be grandfathered under strict compliance rules – see below the current rules and regulations for pets.
• Any violation of this policy will be considered a breach of your lease agreement and may result in further action, including termination of tenancy.
We understand this may be an inconvenience for some residents but maintaining a clean and respectful environment for all tenants is a top priority.
If you currently have a pet, please contact management immediately to discuss your specific situation and next steps.

PETS:
You must be in control of your pets at all times when they are outside. They must be on a leash (no longer than 8 feet) and kept quiet at all times. You must clean up after them, even if no one is looking. If you are caught not picking up after your pet(s) there will be a $25.00 fine. Remember, your pet’s mess is your mess. Vicious or loud pets will not be tolerated. ABSOLUTELY NO AGGRESSIVE PETS ALLOWED IN PARK. Do not leave your pets outside for long periods of time without shade, food, or water. We do not tolerate pet neglect or abuse. Violations of any of our pet rules will result in eviction without refunds. Please make sure your pets have a proper tag, and all their shots updated. Any stray pets will be turned over to the county’s Animal Control Dept. Each site is allowed to have two pets free of charge. Fees apply to additional pets. Limit 4 pets per site. Guests failing to register their pets will be fined $5.00 per day from date moved in to the date management is notified. Pets are not to be on other lots except if visiting another guest. Guests can walk their pet(s) anywhere on the roads in the park. Guests can walk their pets in the area behind trash bins at the front of park or along the fence line in front of the office to potty.

**Cats are to remain inside your camper at all times.

As a reminder, we will specifically be looking for craft employees in the following counties: 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞, 𝐉𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧, 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫, 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐭𝐨𝐧, 𝐓𝐲𝐥𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬.

While candidates from outside these counties are welcome to attend, please note that priority will be given to those from the listed counties, and interviews for out-of-county candidates are not guaranteed. If you are out-of-county, you will still have an opportunity to speak to a member of the recruiting team.

Optimized Process Designs (OPD) will be hosting a hiring event on Thursday, August 1st in Orange, TX!

We will be hiring for multiple skilled crafts including Pipefitters, Pipefitter Helpers, Lattice Boom Crane Operators, Millwrights and Riggers for our new construction project in Vidor, TX. There will be offers made on the spot. You will have the opportunity to leave with a job offer that day! Interviews will be on a first come first serve basis with limited availability.
