Turns out most of our debates had the same answer all along: the backyard.

Fireplace, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, a dining table under the stars, and enough seating that hosting is never a question.

This Denver family moved in to a yard that was mostly weeds and patchy lawn. Now it has a seating area, a built-in grill station, a fireplace for those chilly Colorado nights, and landscaping that ties it all together.

When red rock and pine are already your neighbors, the backyard has to keep up.

This project was about making an outdoor space that feels like it belongs here. It’s built for Colorado’s freeze-thaw winters, made for the long summer evenings, and designed to stand up to the view instead of competing with it!

Two backyards and two completely different Friday nights.

We built both of these and still go back and forth. One has the patio you end up eating every meal on. And the other has the fire pit nobody gets up from. Both good problems to have!
