Just a small tree removal in DC...kidding! Look closely and you can spot our climber at the very top.

With a pool directly below, structures on both sides, and very little room to work with, this was one of those projects where every piece of the removal had to be planned carefully.

New house? Don’t forget to inspect what’s growing around it. When you’re getting familiar with a new property, take a look at the trees too. A few things to check for:

🌳 Trees that are leaning or look unstable
🪵 Dead, damaged, or diseased-looking trees
🏠 Branches hanging over your roof or gutters
✂️ Trees that may need trimming or pruning
🌱 Old stumps that may need to be removed

Knowing what you’re working with early can help you stay on top of tree care before small concerns become bigger ones.

Ever wonder why some trees have to come down one piece at a time? 🌳

When a tree is close to a home, fence, utility lines, or other obstacles, simply cutting it down from the base isn't always an option. Instead, our crew can work from the top down, carefully removing and lowering sections of the tree in a controlled process.

This allows us to tackle tree removals in tight residential spaces while working carefully around the property below.

Working in the yard this weekend? Some of the most common yard work tasks can unintentionally damage a tree's root system and lead to bigger problems over time.

Here are a few ways to help protect them:

🌱 Watch out for exposed roots when mowing or trimming
🌱 Plant trees with plenty of space to grow
🌱 Keep the root flare exposed
🌱 Mulch around exposed roots instead of covering them with soil
🌱 Consult an arborist before excavation or major landscaping
