Well, the weather is finally warming up after the brutal winter we had. Please use caution using your outside spigot for the first time this spring. Even if you have a frost proof spigot it still could have frozen if it didn't drain correctly. When turning it on for the first time we suggest going inside right away to make sure you don't have any type of leak where the spigot exits your home.

If you see any signs of water turn the spigot off and give us a call at 845-928-2455

ITS COLD and Its not going to warm up anytime soon!!!

-If you have oil check your guage!! You will be burning oil a lot faster with these freezing temps! If your low call ASAP to get a delivery!

-If your oil tank Is outside make sure your oil company Is putting In additives to prevent your oil lines from slugging/freezing

-Turn up your thermostats to 70-72 and press hold, do not use the schedule mode right now!!

-Open cabinets under sinks to allow warm air in

-Leave faucets dripping that are on outside walls both hot and cold to prevent water lines from freezing!

*Most Importantly if you have a heating issue call right away, do not wait!! The longer you wait the more likely it is to have a freeze up!

We are available 24/7 at 845-928-2455

With the extremely cold weather we are having and continue to have, we have Public Service Announcement to help keep you and your families safe and warm:
- Set your thermostat between 72-74. If you have a programable thermostat hit hold so it stays set at that temp.
- Open cabinets under sinks to allow warm air to circulate this will help prevent freeze ups, you can also leave the faucet dripping to prevent freeze ups as well.
- If you have oil, check your gauge to make sure you are not low.
- If you have a high-efficiency furnace/boiler, make sure the fresh air vent and exhaust are clear from snow, allowing it to vent and breathe properly.
- Locate your main water shut off now. In case of a burst pipe, you will want to know exactly where it is to prevent major water damage.

If you have any type of plumbing/heating emergency, we can be reached 24/7 at 845-928-2455

Hope everyone stays safe and warm through the storm!
