How do we complete an asphalt shingle roof replacement in just one day? Here's our process:

1. Vehicles, outdoor furniture, and other items are moved a safe distance away from the roof.

2. We hang industrial tarps from the roof's edges to protect your siding, gardens, and landscaping.

3. We remove all existing roofing down to the wood decking, then inspect the decking and repair as needed so your new roof has a strong foundation.

4. We apply an ice and water shield and synthetic felt underlayment, to protect your house (and you) from the elements.

5. We install asphalt shingles in your color of choice.

6. Finally, we perform a full clean-up of excess material and debris, including a magnetic sweep for loose nails.

Climate, weather, and environmental factors play a large role: hot summers, severe winters, and drastic temperature changes throughout the day can shorten their lifespan. One of the best things you can do for your roof is keep an eye on your gutters 🏡 Build-up can lead to standing water on your roof, causing leaks and damage over time.

Generally, homeowners should have their gutters cleaned twice each year: once in the spring to remove winter debris, and once in the fall after the leaves drop. 🍂 Cleanings every 3–4 months may be necessary if your property has heavy tree coverage, and it's also worth checking if your gutters need a clean-out after severe weather.

If you have a shingle roof, granules may start to build up in your gutters – a sign your shingles are losing their protective coating and further action is needed.
