It’s been a little while since we’ve made a post, but we’ve been keeping busy this summer! Here’s a look at some of what we’ve been up to since our last update:

🚧 Bucksport — Completed a large septic system installation, including a concrete chamber leach field. The system has been inspected, approved, and is all set to go.

🛣️ Waterville — Continued work on the large Kennebec Water District project, including paving and lawn installation. We’ll be back later this fall to complete the remaining work.

🌱 Hermon — Completed a large lawn installation with loam, seed, and hay, along with spreading several loads of riprap to improve a steep, difficult-to-mow area.

🏗️ Orrington — Installed a large section of silt fence for J.F. Brennan Company as part of their work on the Penobscot Thin Layer Cap Project.

🧱 Bangor — Completed a 10’ x 20’ concrete slab and electrical conduit installation for Wabanaki Public Health & Wellness.

We’ve also been keeping busy with plenty of smaller projects throughout the area that didn’t make it into this post — from smaller excavation and drainage work to site work and everything in between.

It’s been a busy summer, and we’re grateful for all of the customers, contractors, and organizations who have trusted P.C. Earthworks with their projects. We appreciate the continued support!

🚧 Project Update – Waterville, ME 🚧

Another big step completed at our Kennebec Water District project!

✅ Installed the new sump drain and connected it to the city’s storm drain
✅ Removed the existing pavement
✅ Placed and compacted new gravel
✅ Fine graded and ready for binder pavement later this week

We’ll be back this fall to complete the water main work, concrete demolition, final surface pavement, and lawn installation.

🚧 We started a new project this week in Waterville!

We’re excited to be working alongside Apex Construction on a project supporting the Kennebec Water District. This week we’ve been busy installing erosion control measures, excavating and preparing a generator pad, completing underground conduit trenching, and setting bollards.

We appreciate the opportunity to be part of this project and look forward to sharing more progress as the work continues.

Another project completed this spring by the crew at P.C. Earthworks, Inc.

We recently completed a septic system installation project in Penobscot that was bid through the municipality alongside several other contractors. We’re proud to have been selected for the project and appreciate the opportunity to complete the work.
