I hate to do it, but we might have to start charging a fuel surcharge….
The month of July alone cost us $11,232 in diesel!!! That’s not counting the endless times I fill up at the gas station! That’s not counting the fuel for our blowers, chainsaws, pruners, weedeaters, compactors, block saws and sod stripper. This all comes out of my labor cost , which knocks me down a bunch. Can you imagine getting your weekly paycheck and having to give back $2808 per week?! And that’s just in fuel!!! No one said running a business is easy, there’s a whole lot that goes into it. Plus there’s repairs , insurance, QuickBooks fee’s, payroll, licenses, and so much more. I just want people to be aware of why a business has to charge what they do. There’s a lot of hidden expenses that some people don’t realize.
